Slip dresses, in my opinion, are great for fall because they are such a perfect layering piece. In the summer when worn alone, it can sometimes look like I accidentally wore my lingerie out of the house... But fall layering gives it a much more modest approach.
My champagne slip dress and gray wool coat are both from StyleWe, which is based out of China. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the items. Going to China as a kid, we did most of our shopping at street vendors and sketchy strip mall-type places, but this is that fancy department store quality stuff my mom was never in a million years going to buy me.
I layered my slip dress with a striped boatneck top from J.Crew because I like how the contrasting pattern pops against the demure champagne color. And I'm wearing my new favorite ankle boots from Zara which are EVERYTHING. I actually got them in a trade off Poshmark, which if you don't know about it by now, you should! Special thank you to StyleWe for partnering with me on this post!
