So we're still going back in time here and playing catch up, but at least pictures from today's post are from this year...
This one I shot during my three month stint in Providence, RI for a rotation in the area. I was lucky to have been able to live with my best friend in this beautiful, modern apartment downtown with an amazing view. It's a shame I was so busy and stressed about board exams that I only did two looks.

I got this Forever21 drop waist dress made in a soft, baby blue sweatshirt material (which I LOVE), but couldn't make the drop waist look work on me without looking childish. By layering a Ralph Lauren white button-down underneath, I felt like I was able to add a little bit of professionalism. On top of that, my H&M suede moto jacket cuts off around the same area as the drop waist and downplays the girly silhouette a little bit. I went with my white Vans for continuity and to highlight the white collar.

By the way, I'm crazy about the stitching on this moto jacket. Love quilting and subtle changes in texture. The dress is similar too in that the top is smooth cotton and the bottom is a rib knit texture.

Also, I just need to say that Providence is totally underrated city and has a top-notch foodie scene. If you ever find yourself in the area, you must MUST MUST check out North, Ken's Ramen, Figidini, or Vinya!

Hi guys! Sorry I'm starting to fall behind on posts again. Started working full time 2 weeks ago at my first real job, and I'm trying to adjust to the daily grind.

I mentioned in my last post that I usually like to wear crop tops over another shirt because I'm midriff-shy, but it's also a great layering technique for the upcoming fall season.

Here's one where I wore the same Tautmun crop top over a plain GAP white long-sleeve and kept the look monochrome with some black skinny jeans from Forever21 and black Chelsea boots from, you guessed it... F21. Heh heh.
